Attendance at the most profound times of ending — the death of what no longer serves, and the dignity of not walking alone.
Windi is a death doula. She attends the last days, and the dying of what can no longer be carried — with the dual training of a nurse and a minister, and the ear of an oracle.
This sitting is for thresholds that are not small: illness, grief, ending, the last days. Families and the dying are met with honesty, without harshness, and with the dignity of not walking alone.
It is not medical treatment. It is accompaniment: reassurance without minimizing reality, hope without false promises.
